New program of family outings to various places linked to the 1939 exile (September 2018- May 2019)

Sunday, May 12th

Coll de Lli. The evasion of top Republican leaders.

The activity will begin at the Memorial Museum of Exile, in La Jonquera. We will then travel to La Vajol, where we will walk one of the most famous paths of exile, the Coll de Lli. By this border crossing, on February 5, 1939, the highest representatives of the republican institutions arrived in French territory. The footsteps of Lluís Companys, José Antonio Aguirre, Manuel Azaña, Diego Martínez Barrio and their entourage will be followed.

Meeting place: Exile Memorial Museum, La Jonquera

The following outing will also take place in June 2019: June 9, 2019: The double border. Portbou in the lead years of World War II

Additional information: Travel is made in the participant's own transport and lunch is not included.

All scheduled outings are on Sundays. Duration: 4 hours (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Prices: general 15EUR - children from 7 to 12 years 8EUR

Reduced prices for groups of 10 or more participants: general 12EUR - children from 7 to 12 years 5EUR
