Coinciding with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the MUME hosts the work Rivesaltes in et ex situ, made by the students of the Lycée Claude Simon about Ribesaltes concentration camp. Directed by the artist Séverine Peron, the highschool students have carried out during this last year a series of interventions about the meaning of internment and deportation taking as references the remains you find today of the camp of Ribesaltes. The result of this project, documented on video and with photographs, will be presented at the Temporary Exhibtion Hll of the MUME and will count with the presence of those involved (about 60 students).
The day of the presentation will be open to the public in general. The pedagogic and artistic project counts witht the support of the DRAC Languedoc-Roussillon nad the Conseil-Général des Pyrénées Orientales.
