I Educational Seminar. A pedogogical approach to the museums of the area. 

The group of museums that form the Project A County of museums invite you to take part in the seminar A pedagogical approach to the museums of the area of the Alt Emporda, addressed to the teaching professionals of the area.

The OBJECTIVES of the seminar are:

Introduce the teachers to the world of museums and their educactional services, offering them the know-how that will allow them to use the tools that are available.

Make known to the teaching professionals the educational resources the museums of the area have to offer, as well as the patrimony they custody.

Open a debate to create work synergies amongst the museums and the schools.

DATES I HOURS: from 27/10 to 24/11, 2011, Thrusdays from 17:30h to 19:30h.

PLACE: Serveis Educatius de l'Alt Empordà (C/ Maria Àngels Anglada, 13 -Figueres - 17600). Visits to the museums of the county are planned.

27/10/2011. WHAT CAN THE MUSEUMS OFFER AS EDUCATIONAL AREAS? Maria Feliu. Professor, Dept. of Didactics in Social Sciences and didactic consultant to the Museum of History of Catalonia.

03/11/2011. THE USE OF PATRIMONY IN THE CLASSROOM: WHY, WHAT, WHERE AND HOW? Magda Fernández. Professor Emeritys of the U.of Barceona and specialist in the Didadctics of Industrial Patrimony and cultural tourism.

10/11/2011. THE MUSEUMS WITH PEDAGOGIC OFFER IN THE COUNTY OF THE ALT EMPORDÀ. THE PROGRAMME "A COUNTY OF MUSEUMS". Group Una Comarca de Museu.

17/11/2011. PRACTICAL DAY: A visit to one of the museums of the group. (Thegroup of assistants will decide which museum they wish to visit).

24/11/2011. DEBATE: WHAT CAN THE MUSEUMS OF THE COUNTY OFFER? All the assistants.
