During the Spanish Civil War photographers saw their friends fall under Franco's bullets and how their homes and the entire country were destroyed.
As an alert and as a witness, the photographers took photos of the refugees crossing the Catalan border by the thousands and made this anguishing event known to the world.
This is demonstrated by the shots of the photographers Catalan, Spanish and French: Augustine Centelles Manuel Moros, Auguste Chauvin made headlines as the major reporters, Capa, Chim, Taro, or currently Yannis BEHRAKIS.
This film tells of his adventure and reveals his hitherto relatively unknown works. A story in which the intimate is mixed with national and international chaos.

It is an international commemoration but in Catalonia it is celebrated only, although every year with more intensity, in our province.
This initiative, promoted and coordinated by Bòlit, Girona Center for Contemporary Art of Girona City Council, with the support of the Girona Provincial Council and the Territorial Services of Culture in Girona of the Generalitat de Catalunya, is designed in conjunction with about eighty of entities related to the world of visual arts in the lands of Girona, offering a multidisciplinary program with the aim of filling both streets and facilities throughout the territory with art and culture. The wide and varied program of free activities suitable for all audiences includes art itineraries, screenings, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, conferences, gastronomic proposals and performances, among others.
