SYNOPSIS 

Memorias follows in the footsteps of three Italian anti-fascists who took part in the Spanish Civil War; Leo, Orazio and Giordano Bruno. Three experiences that become, in a positive sense, a pretext to go further: the legacy and contradictions of memory, its conflicts, the dangers of oblivion and the antidotes to oblivion; the values of anti-fascism and its present situtation. 

Memoirs, plural, as the sum of the three individual memoirs and that, though the most controversial and least tangible, collective history; never as in this case so conflicted, fragmented, little recognized.

A journey through Spain and Italy to the places of the front and to the territories still marked by war wounds, in search of the voices of the witnesses and the traces of memory in time.
