Girona History Museum Route "The Roads to Exile" (1/3): Girona- Darnius- La Vajol- Coll de Lli
Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Route through the sites related to the last days of Republican Catalonia and the evacuation of the cultural heritage and the funds of the Bank of Spain.
Visit to Mas Can Descals, in Darnius, repository of works of art and headquarters of the Generalitat de Catalunya, during the Retirement. The route continues to La Mina Canta, in La Vajol. Lunch in the same town and itinerary on foot to the border crossing of Coll de Lli, place of passage of the retreat where the presidents Azaña, Companys, Aguirre and Martínez Barrio crossed.
