Presentation of the book Itineraries of the 1939 Retreat, by historian Jordi Gaitx, published by the Democratic Memorial. This is a publication that presents the MUME as the epicenter of a series of itineraries through the memory spaces of the republican exile in the area of ​​the Girona Pyrenees, northern Catalonia and southern France selected by historian and archivist Jordi Gaitx.

Performance JOAQUIN ABRIL CASTILLO a été ici (peut-ÊTRE) by Óscar Abril from the works of Josep Bartolí present in the exhibition Art and exile. Artists of the Catalan exile of 1939. This is a tribute to his grandfather, Joaquin Abril Castillo (Binéfar, Huesca, 1907 - Gusen, Austria, 1942), who suffered exile and was deported to the Nazi concentration camp of Mauthausen (KLM 4095 ) and Gusen (KLG 9817). The performance will consist of crossing the French border, as many exiles did, leaving the Empordà Museum in Figueres and passing by the MUME in La Jonquera.

Oscar Abril Ascaso (Barcelona, ​​1966) is a Catalan cultural producer. Art historian specializing in contemporary art. He has performed in the fields of curation, criticism, workshop management, seminars, radio and television. He has developed his projects mainly in the territories of performance (he was a founding member of Club7, the first association aimed at promoting the art of action in our country), sound art (co-director of the Zeppelin Festival until 2002) and the art of new media.
